where did you guys get your helicoils from?

should be able to get them at any auto repair place like checker or auto zone

ey can actually be trickier to find than you think. HeliCoil only has Advance Auto as a liscensed distributor. That's where I found them. As soon as I get a chance to measure the head studs, I'll run down there and pick up a set.
But hey, if you need a helicoil to fix a stripped head stud socket (in the block itself), I can send you my set after I use it for my engine (the kit comes with like 12 inserts) and we can split the cost. The kits are around $40 each.
