I love my gas bike, but it seized finally after about 1000 miles.
It didnt sound right for the last few days, more of a metallically sounding and rattling. there were some metal shavings on the piston and 2 nice vertical scour marks on the cylinder wall. Oh well. the question is:
should i have gone easier on the bike and only traveled around 20mph. Usually i was on full throttle, in the neighborhood of 28-30mph. also, i did go downhills at full speed, most likely overrevving it. the chain sprocket on the motor did have a bearing that was on its way out, (lots of play). How many miles should i ahve gotten out of this engine? I was a 66cc (80cc) from boygofast.
