I'm new to this forum and I joined for a few reasons.
The first (obviously) is that I want to get a motored bike and wanted to learn as much as I can about them before I made a major investment.
The second is that I just recently learned that these systems exist. When I was in high school I was always mad at how horribly inefficient American cars were. 20 miles a gallon? Europe gets away with over two times that! I wanted something that rode like a bike but got actual assistance from a motor. I loved dirtbikes and I knew they got great gasmilage. Eventually a friend told me that I was silly and that this idea already existed. That's how I came here.
I move a lot and I have a small truck but I've always wanted something smaller that was easy to take with me for travel with that wouldn't break the bank. This looks like a very viable alternative.
I'm really looking for something like this to commute/enjoy the countryside/go to the corner store in.
I'm hoping with people freaking out about gas prices that these machines become more popular.
