hello forum! i am new here and workin on my first motorbike project. this is what i have put together so far. i have a sun custom retro cruiser. i had 2 wheels built around a sturmey archer x-fd front drum brake and the matching sturmey 3speed drum for the rear. i am using a problemsolvers cable doubler to pull both brakes with a right hand lever. the next step is to find a nice 2 stroke and a shifter kit. im also thinking about going with board racer style bars. i am open to any wisdom or advice for this project. this is an awesome forum by the way!

Beautiful bike!

I'd suggest you consider fitting an integral tank in that forward frame triangle, and an SBP shift kit jackshaft behind that seat post (there's plenty of room), and run power through all three gears of that SA rear end. The tank you would have to fabricate, as far as I know there is no retail source for them.

I'd also go with a black painted engine.

i would love to get an integral tanks but i have no fab skills. i have on the way a shift kit and a black 80cc slant head
