After viewing multiple posts and videos for a couple of months or so, I think I'm ready to start building a homemade belt-drive bicycle using maybe a trimmer or pocket bike engine. I might want to use a bicycle rim as a drive wheel, but I'm not sure about how to deal with the frame clearance and method of attachment to the other rim. I was thinking about using 1/8" black iron rivets that i have on hand....or maybe ordering some stainless rivets.
I'm looking forward to motorizing a bicycle, but have gotten sidetracked just pedaling around. Time to build something.
Thanks to all who make this site possible.
