    Hello MB.com!

My name is Ryan Tucker, and I just bought the Jet 80cc motor from http://www.kingsmotorbikes.com/ and bought this bike, somewhat of a cheap one from walmart.

I have no experience in small engines, but it looks like a blast.
Any tips for a first timer, things you wish you would have thought of, things you would have changed, knowing what you know now?

    Lighter bike, better brakes, etc

    thanks in advance

    Hello and welcome to MBc.

I recognize the Avalon and not used it but know at least one here who has though with a rack mount.
One question is if the fit inside the triangle will be ok.

Check this for starters, there are other threads as well I'm sure in the archive.

    Welcome to the forum.
I concentrated on keeping my bike very light at first. I later bought a heavier front wheel for increased stability at speed, heavier handlebars to reduce vibration, etc.
If I did it over, I would focus on making it sturdy, rather than light.

In fact, I recently bought a beach cruiser frame made from tensile steel to replace my chromoly MTB frame. The cruiser frame will provide a lower seat height, slower steering and reduce engine vibration.
