Hello all! I wanted to say that this site has been an excellent resource. I just finished my first build, a 50cc HT on a 1970's Western Flyer 10 speed road bike. Only problem is that the throttle seems to do nothing (engine runs, but I can't control the engine speed), but I'll have a solution within a couple days.

Welcome! Lee's Summit area here. I have been commuting to work on my MB for about 2 months now. Having a blast and using about $3 of gas per week.

This website is a great source for troubleshooting problems. You may have to fine tune the throttle cable or idle screw.
