Hi folks. Since I discovered motorized bicycles I've become obsessed with the idea of building one. I really like the board track or antique motorcycle look. After a long history with motorcycles it would be kind of "back to the roots" experience. After all, that's where motorcycles came from right?
I don't have alot of money to spend so it may take awhile to finish. I will be using a cruiser frame and probably a two stroke motor. The 79cc Predator looked good to me but it seems like it might not be a good choice for a first build, money-wise especially. And I haven't fooled around with two strokes in years, so other than sorting through the bewildering array of vendors, I'm looking forward to it.
Brakes are another issue. Looks like there is alot of good information on this forum though. I thought about a Sturmey Archer drum on the front, not sure about the rear.
Anyway, can't wait to get started. I hope to pick up a frame this weekend. I look forward to talking with you all.
