This is my first build ever, went in totally blind. After a day or two on the forum, I registered and learned a lot! :devilish:

Great looking build. Looks like you did fine without us. Those mountain bike handlebars always worked better than cruiser handle bars for me too.
If you plan to ride in traffic on the street, I would add a front brake. I know it makes the handlebars more crowded, but cagers do crazy things. They also make single brake levers that will activate two brakes, saving room on the handlebars.
 
as wheelbender says, front brakes are a must. my two bikes i have are set up so one has the front brake and the other has rear brakes and the one with front brakes stop much better. but anyways, nice build!
 
I'm a firm believer that a coaster in the rear and a drum up front is the way to go
 
A BMX brake like you have on the rear wheel should bolt right up and won't cost much. I love the front drum brake like butre too and they will fit any fork.
