Hello from the North Coast of Ohio

I'm a bit of a tinkerer and I enjoy classic and vintage bikes, but I've never built one with a motor. So, today I began my build of a 48cc, Ohio street legal motorized bike. I'm starting with the Huffy Cranbrook that I bought from Walmart, and I've mounted the engine, but not much else. As soon as I can post pictures, I'll do so.

I know that the Cranbrook is a pretty common donor bike, but do any of you have suggestions or concerns that might help me avoid problems in advance?
