Hello from Utah

I am from Clinton, Utah and just planning on building my first motored bike to go along with my new Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab. I need the truck for family stuff, but I only live 5.5 miles from work so I am planning to commute on the motorized bicycle (weather permitting).

Still looking at bikes, motors, laws and ideas. Expect the snow to fly soon so I will probably make this a winter project.

I am an engineer so I can probably decipher any instructions and overcome any minor deviations to fit my bike. I am also competent with forums, but tend not to post much.
