So here I am.
I started out at trying to make a gokart...failed.
So i've got an old mongoose mountain bike and a chain saw.
I got it running on friction drive. It doesn't go fast enough tho.
Maybe 10mph on flat ground. I'm losing power cause of the knobby tire but I've been doing "burn outs" to smooth the tire. Plus im using the bell to drive the wheel and not a roller pin.
I was going to weld on a sprocket to the bell and drive it that way, but the gearing would be like a 2 to 1 ratio.
