I heard a serious scraping noise from my motor today after a 10 mile ride.
Came home and took the clutch cover off. removed the pressure plate and spring so all that's left in there is the clutch pack itself. I also removed the clutch lever and the shaft that pushes the clutch out. I couldn't get the ball out it appears is stuck in there with grease.
I spin the pedals and hear a severely heavy scraping sound behind the clutch pack.
If you had to guess, what am I going to find when I take out the clutch? Bad bearings?
Just to make sure there is a peice of metal with three prongs coming off it it. I can move the clutch pack ever so slightly against that circular piece of metal with the three prongs coming off it. They are separate pieces correct?
