I restore vintage balloon tire bikes as a hobby, and one of them would make a nice motor bike project, so here I am!;)

The black '42 Western Flier is the most likely motor candidate. I've got a NOS Shockmaster prewar fork that I just put on ebay, but if it doesnt sell for what Im asking, it's going on that bike too.

First picture - Gray bike - what type and year is that? Would make a great Board Track Racer .. huuuum

It's a 1936 Hawthorne Duralium(Monark Silver King). Too light and squirly to go fast on anyway, add a motor and It would be downright dangerous. Not that boardtrack racing was ever a safe thing to do....

I don't really know enough about what is available yet. I've seen the 80cc kits, but I don't know if that's the way to go or not. I guess I'll learn more on here, then make my decision..
