My name is Jamey. I'm a mechanical engineering student at Missouri S&T in Rolla, MO. I have recently decided to mount a motor on my bicycle to commute to campus and came here to research methods to do so.

Welcome and howdy

This is a great place to learn about MBs like stan4d says read, and look at all the pics of ingenious things these folks do to ride like the wind. I find the pics very helpful. I hope that being some kind of new fangled engineer we will see pics of your hopefully creative build. Post some when you finish your first build. I bet once you do you'll want to build another that's what happens. Good luck and try to be relatively safe. Remember always over engineer, make whatever you build bombproof so things don't go falling off or exploding between your legs.

" If I can't fix it, I'll fix it where no one can fix it". Sideshowbob backyard engineer.
