He would walk as long as the time it takes and the wear on his legs and feet did not upset the delicate balance between himself and his world. My world requires minimum travel time and maximum work time and so I have to harm the environment a bit by riding a motorized bike in order to live. Still I think it pollutes less than a car.

The Buddha probably wouldn't ride in my opinion, but he would probably find the use of a motorized bike a skillful means for the end accomplished
