Hi, I'm new to motor... well... any kind of cycling really. I got a kit from Bikeberry as a gift and bought a Mongoose mountain bike on Craigslist and now I am tormenting the neighbors with my endless buzzing about. I'm of course still working out some kinks since this is my first build and I know nothing about bicycles. It runs well and Now I'm looking into changing shifters and possibly getting some better wheels. No questions here. Just in introduction.

Depending on how "new" you are to biking you may want to hit a parking lot, test your slalom abilities, and safe braking distance of the bike at speed (cars love to eat us).Make sure to check all the little things that can come loose on a MAB (before and after rides), they vibrate screws right out.
Welcome aboard, be careful, and have fun.

Welcome to the forum. Tighten your bolts (or verify that they are tight) once a week or so and you shouldn't ever get stranded by you motorbike. Everytime my bike stranded me, it was caused by me doing something stupid.
