I just joined this forum after reading it for a few weeks and completing a home made motorized friction drive bike using a Ryobi 2 stroke engine and my mountain bike.

home built, I like that. It's inspiration for my bro and I. We've got a 45cc homelite chainsaw motor we want to mount in the frame on a bike, just so we can say we did it lol

Thanks! Wow... a 45cc will kick some serious butt. I've been amazed at how fast this thing will go with a 31cc Ryobi.
My next project will be a 4 stroke weedeater engine. It's another Ryobi which I'm liking a lot at this point.
