My real name is Jason and I am from Indiana.

I ride a scooter and am building a MB. My main reason for being here is to spread the word that these bikes can be really good if used responsibally. I want to encourage every state government to allow this for their citizens. We can accomplish this by riding responsibly and banding together to push for these bikes to be allowed on public roads.

Welcome Jason. You're right. Many more people will be gettting into this hobby out of necessity. It would be in the best interests of citizens for the government to get out of the way of this technology.
Unfortunately, state governments rarely do what's right for citizens and instead choose to do what produces the most revenue. I fully expect the states to allow motored bikes but with more, rather than less regulation. Fees, taxes, fines, penalties = $$$
