On my Honda I've been taking the easy way out and just running with the choke on about Half Way. The folks over at AGK (Affordable Go Karts) have recently offered a aftermarket air cleaner/filter and they indicate that for their set up you need to drill out the main jet of the HS carb to .026 #71 wire drill. The Stock jet is said to be .024 #73 wire drill. You might want to work your way up to the #71 by starting with a #72 and then running it for a bit and if you think you need more then go to the #71 ? You also might want to be sure that you have a spare stock jet around just in case?
