Do not overfill your Honda GX35 with oil!!!! This engine is easy to accidentally overfill and some people experience the GX35 bogging out at full throttle after the engine is warm. The reason for this is most likely that you overfilled the engine with oil. The GX35 calls for a max 100ml of 10W-30 oil, or 3.5 oz. I recommend starting off with 3.0 oz and then topping off if needed after several miles of riding.

never overfill any engine with oil...

leaving out .5 oz of oil would be like leaving out 3/4 of a quart in a car... measure 3.5 oz and dump the bottle you used to measure in.
