how do i remove the baffle?

    I finally got my 4 stroke in frame engine and want to remove the baffle for less back pressure. I don't care about the noise. I took the nut off on the end and see the stuff inside, but its on there pretty tight.

    Well, you have a catalytic exhaust if your baffle is attached to the inside. I would suggest just getting a noncat exhaust and pulling it off of that one. The noncat exhausts the baffle comes off with the tip. Cats are welded up inside. :(

    if you got a 4 stroke like you said, you probably just have a muffler (like a lawnmower type), not a muffler with a baffle inside like the 2 strokes come with.
    but if you could provide a pic of exactly what you have, that would help.
    if it is a common 2 stroke exhaust, sometimes the baffles will come right out, other times they won't. It depends on which version of the muffler you have. some are fully welded together, others are held together with screws.
