Im new to the engine kit world I will be beginning my first kit build this weekend. Its gonna be an 80cc on a mnt bike frame, not to sure if I want to use 24'' rims or 26''. or but im deff excited. I've turned a goped into a road mnt bike cruiser, that was my last build, now I want to step up the power...

I've noticed that a lot of mountain bikes horizontal tubes are no longer flat. they angle down to the seat post. That might blow any chance of using a 24". Might make it difficult on even a 26.

I squeezed a happy time engine into a 24" beach cruiser. The frame just barely held it. It's a nice bike, but it feels just a bit small for me. And that's with a long, back sloping seat post. I'm 6 ft tall. But that bike might feel small for anyone over, say, 5 ft 6 in.

But maybe you don't need this advice; you'll be able to figure out which bike works for you.

good luck.
