Just wanted to say hi.
I bought a staton-inc friction drive kit, with the china knock off TLE43. It is installed on a aluminum NEXT walmart bike. I had it all installed and ready to ride and then it started to rain, I hope I'll get out to try it out tomorrow.
Funny thing about the fake TLE43 is the choke is marked incorrectly, took me a while to get it to run right, but now it's just a anti theft measure I suppose. I am very happy with the staton kit except for the kill switch, it is a very cheap momentary switch that doesn't fit the handle bar.
I plan to run the fake TLE43 until it bites the dust then I'll upgrade to a tanaka or some other nice 2 stroke.
I'll try to post some pictures tomorrow.
