hello and thanks maybe you can help me, i have a skyhawk 66cc im just breaking it in. But i took the gasket out of the manifold and did the silicone thing, then i put the needle in the top position and i grinded the middle of the red air filter cover for more air flow. what am i doing wrong. its harder to start and kinda bogs like its too rich help me

if you put the needle in the carb at the top position, that is as lean as it can be.
i would lower the needle back to the middle slot and see if that helps.
Sounds like you are not getting enough fuel (too lean).
normally a bog is caused from a lean condition.

ride it and check your spark plug color at the electrode.
you are looking for a tan color.
if it's black & sooty, it's too rich, raise the clip one spot (which will lower the needle) and try again.
if the plug color is whitish or silvery, it's too lean. lower the clip one slot (which will raise the needle) and try again.
