Im confused

I have a trek 7.2 fx and I want to put a two stroke jackshaft engine kit on it. Do i need to buy the engine separately? And if so, is it then simply a matter of buying the engine and the kit and installation?

yes the engine and jackshaft kits are bought separate,.. then installation,... dont rush the install, take your time and locktite stuff spend time fitting parts and aligning chains,.. study install manual first goodluck!

of course it less than 50 cc officer,... anything larger would be illegal

Unless ya live in California pbeggs, The law just changed to allow up to 4 horsepower here. My 66/80cc only puts out about 2.8hp which is pretty much standard for the China girl 80cc. NOW I gotta buy a bigger engine.
