In search of a durable engine (MO)

So I have bought and installed 2 kits and both the engines are out of commission now. All the other kit parts work fine and I plan on building a new motorized bike with the parts I have and a brand new engine. I have found only a few sites that sell just the engine, and the prices vary from 80-160 dollars. I am not familiar with any engine brand or its relative quality but figured some of you veterans would have a good idea which engine is the most durable, and where I could buy one. Either that or send me your broken engines and ill fix them both for less than the cost of 1 kit.

Then youll have 2 rebuilt motors that are better than any stock engine.

Before you install another engine there are things that I feel need to be done to the engine as it comes out of the box and before instillation. What you are describing can be repaired as noted above. One of the mods I believe in could of most likely averted your stripped stud hole threads.
