Initial troubleshooting GX35

I just bought and assembled a Golden Eagle kit. Fired it up about thirty minutes ago and took it for a spin down the street and back. It doesn't seem to have the power to get out of its own way. No binding brakes, flat road, good tires, I weigh 215 lbs., .... baffled. Any ideas??

It takes a while for the engine and parts to break in. Don't expect speeds over 30mph though with a GX35.
