Hello, Allen here. I have a 1999 Whizzer currently. I got started on Whizzers in the 1950's. I purchased my first whizzer for $10. After cleaning it up and removing an obstruction from the gas tank (an apple), it ran Ok. The oil drain bolt was stripped, (I fixed it with JB weld type filler) and the flywheel keys kept breaking. I got a ball bearing crank but the engine never was right. When it ran it was pretty good, but it hardly ran. In the Winter (Chicago) I would wrap rope around the rear tire like a tire chain. What fun! I sold it later on to a sailor for another $10.
