Keeping Motor Clean

I spend once a week cleaning my bike. Got to look good ya know. I have to degrease my motor every time due to excessive oil build up on the top of it. Why is that. I check my head bolts and there fine. So where is it coming from?

Probably from the spark plug or the head gasket. From the factory they have cheap gaskets that are just plain junk.

Spark plug I thought about and checked. Guess it's head gasket time.

they manage to spit out a lot of crud from all over the place. I have a brand new head gasket, and I keep it perfectly tightened (torque wrench in my kit and everything) and it spits oil all the time... it's the nature of the mediocre quality.

I'm going to be washing my bike soon as well. I always use Simple Green on my car engine-- a non-toxic (food safe, even) degreaser.
