Kick Stand advice

Hey all..I bought a kick stand for my shwinn 80cc..Sun Lite dual leg..it keeps falling down and is lop sided..there must be a better way to do this. Anyone have this kick stand?

I have center stands (two legs) on my gas bike and e-bike. They never hold up the bike completely vertical. it always leans to one side a bit.
You may need to add a second spring to your kick stand if it allows your bike to fall. Hardware stores usually carry a variety of tension springs.

It would've helped if you included a picture of your kick stand. I personally use a double kick stand which folds to the left side. Staton Inc sells the kind I have.

I have the same exact center stand, the sunlite and it worked perfect on my marin MTB after adding SQUARE washers and longer bolt sourced from Osh Hardware to raise it up, I have another 2 washers Im going to add to the stack, I want the wheel up a little higher to make it easier to work on.
