My favorite local rides are at the Lake Balboa Complex and the Sepulveda Dam area. I avoid the park more or less and skirt it at times especially on weekends. Probably best to avoid this are on weekends, but during weekdays, not bad. Anyhow on my Papamotor Cruiser with a Ping Battery, almost 4 years old still can get me 24 miles at 18mph, working awesome too. I took this out for the ride and well, in HD enjoy it. I spotted an ABC 7 News van at the park, took a quick ride by, but didn't stop. I tried to cover most of my old haunts here. Average path cruising speed between 14 to 18mph. Road speeds at 20mph.
