Somewhere back in the mid 80's, I got the bug to build something that rolled. I came across an old Fox Mini Trail frame in a lawn mower shop, that was in good shape. It looked to take a motorcycle engine, which I didn't have. I decided to weld a mounting plate into the frame and mounted a Tecumseh HS50/5 HP engine along with a centrifugal clutch. That didn't work very well because I needed more reduction, so I bought a jack shaft setup, with brake and a Comet 20 series CVT. That worked great and I rode the daylights out of that thing. I eventually put it away and there it sat for 20 years.

As the economy has left me with free time, I pulled it out for a makeover. A total disassembly followed by a good stripping and painting got the frame back in shape. The engine needed new points and a carb kit but now it breathes again. I had forgotten just how much power and speed that thing had. I was going to sell it but a few rides later and I'm not so sure.
