So with the tempature change happening, gas pressure is increasing with the heat and pushing gas out of my carb and into the center of the HT engine between the clutch side and the 10t sprocket side. The gas puddling in the center and has seeped into the engine and somehow worked its way between the clutch pads and the engine. Now my clutch pads are soggy and wont grip the engine enough to turn over, the pads are slick and its dripping gas mixed with some other liquid out the bottom.

Soooo..
1. what is the liquid around the crank
2. does it need to be changed since gas has leaked into it.
3. what can I do to keep this from happening.

blown or loose crank seal. there's plenty of info on how to put new ones in on this forum.

first, fix your carb - something is wrong with the float or the float needle clean both & check that float height is right

next clean or replace your clutch pads (and maybe try some silicon seal on that gasket)

don't worry overmuch about the crank because your cases should be well sealed from outside liquids
