so on my way home my bike made a clunk sound and died wouldnt start back up.. got home took plug out got a spark on it. but took apart a little more and found a broken ring just the top one tho.. would that be my problem for it not to start? and it made a little gouge on the cylinder wall and on the piston. could i just change the rings would it be ok?? all help is greaty appreciated..

wouldn't hurt to try as long as you're sure you have all the broken pieces out of the bottom end that may have fallen down the transport passages - you'll also want to check that the locating pin is set properly in the ring land on the piston
