    Hey all,

I just installed a brand new 2 stroke 80cc kit and this noise will not go away. Ive heard something similar from other videos but on theirs it only happens on startup then it goes away. its extremely loud (overpowers the engine) but im just wondering if this is normal or if it will go away on its own or something needs to be done. heres a video of how it rides:

    Any input is greatly appreciated

I couldn't play the video but a bit of whine is normal on a new engine.
Lightly grease the gears every tank or two and it will quiet down.

If it is really loud, or just to be safe, pull the covers and check that all the bolts are tight and nothing is rubbing.

no vid here either, but don't forget to grease bucking bar & clutch arm too - of course, looking for rub marks inside covers may help also
