Lurking in Scotland UK

Hi there, I've been lurking here for the past few months and have finally registered.
I don't have a motorised bike but do like the idea now my poor old knees are finding peddling a strain.
Unfortunately in the UK any vehicle using an internal combustion engine has to be registered, taxed etc so its not as easy as for some of you guys.
I'll clear off from here now and post a burning question of mine in the correct forum

Yes. I understand that being legal in the UK is a bit more difficult. But there are a few members here who have either managed it or they manage to ride outside the law without getting into trouble.

So it ought to be do-able.
