    I see what you mean. Kinda turns me on? (Feeling a little weird. Kinda "tingly." Oh dear. :whistling:)

    One of my rides had an LT1 (ex cop car). That was one HOT engine! Best Detroit iron I ever owned. I just loved taking a newbie out and stomping the throttle. Never failed to impress.

    Formula 1 piston and connecting rod. I believe this example is from the 3 litre V10 era
    Back in the day these engines revved to 19,000 rpm.

    When Cosworth was finalising their 2.4 litre V8 design and durability program, they had a dyno test engine running at 21,000 rpm.
