Mobility scooter?

Anybody use a mobility scooter or make one?
I was thinking of making one using a 2 wheel sit down electric scooter and adding 2 wheels to the rear, any ideas?..

wife has MS so we have scooters everywhere, have 2 small pride sonics which are small and easy to lift and transport and a pride celebrity larger scooter for greater distances and alot faster...

not sure what you mean by 2 wheel sit down electric scooter, but it sounds like you going to try a trike mod ?????

A 2 wheel electric scooter with seat from like walmart, but remove the back wheel and add 2 and a little mod here and there to make it look like a mobility scooter, which is legal for use on sidewalks.

you could also go the other way and maybe start with the mobility scooter and add bigger motors if you wanted faster speed, we picked up or two sonic prides for less than $100 on craigs list, couple of mods and you could run 16 inc wheels maybe.
