Modify to run on diesel?

I cant find it anymore but I did see one build that was a highway cruiser motorcycle with the engine swapped for a 3 phase industrial generator with the appropriate electric motor in the back.

Supposedly Mr Rudolph Diesel meant for the engines to be self sufficient in rural agricultural communities .

His original design wasn't even meant to run on a liquid fuel, but coal dust. That's the beauty of the diesel engine concept, aka compression ignition, it can basically run on anything that can burn and be forced through a nozzle at high enough pressures to get it into the cylinder.
