Motorized bike head gasket leak

    Hi I built a motorized bike 2 weeks back, and it was running fine but all of a sudden, now the bike sometimes looses power and makes a grinding noise at full throttle. I noticed that there is a gap between the head and gasket, no oil leaks from there. can air leak from that gap. I posted some pics below as well.

    You need to tighten all the head bolts in an x or z pattern until you see no gaps.

    Yep tighten the bolts after you clean the surface then add some rtv to the head that will fix it

    Once again, rtv is not fuel or oil proof.

    Do not use rtv.
