Mounting....?

Hey guy's

It's me again, I just had one quick question. Will I have to mount something on my schwinn stingray to hold the 70cc motor on? Can I use bolts? or what? Thanks for the help.

I'm no Stingray expert, but from what I have read, some sort of adapter is needed.

you will need an adapter to move the engine to the left to clear the wide back tire
I have used the one from livefast
there is a guy on ebay that sells a better one (the livefast one developed numerous cracks !)

I DO have a motormount I got on ebay for the motor.

do you have the rear wheel, sprocket adapter?

you'll need this...or something like it, to align the chain. (to get it past that fat rear tire)

i am not using this adapter, or anyadapter for that matter. all i did was mount like normal. i did however have to cut a notch out of my fender, to allow for chain clearance. my tire has a few marks from slaps, but nothing major. so, no you dont need it, or at least you dont need it with barry's mount...
