Hello Everyone,

I have been discussing Pirate88179 friction mounted drive with him the past couple days. (thanks again Pirate88179 you have been more than helpful) and I ran across a question that he had not no experience with.

We started discussing the option of attaching an after market muffler to this engine :

This was the muffler in question:

Has anyone put this on their friction MB engine with success, or failure.

Pirate88179 seem to think that it would be fairly large on the engine and stick out a bit to far. I seem to agree.

Although I would love to know if anyone has tried.

This posting is just for curiosities sake, but would love to know if anyone has attempted attaching a after market muffler with success.

Thanks everyone,
Josh

aaand, how did it work? I have the same orange engine as the OP, and it's way louder than my TLE.

The ADA pipes work very well. Much less restriction than stock exhaust, quieter than the originals. Power and rpm ranges have increased.

Pricey, though.
