Muffler guard

I'm thankful for my chain guard, but I was wondering if anyone has been creative enough to come up with a muffler guard or shield. I've only had my MB for a few days and have a nice burn on my left leg.
I read the safety page today and confirmed jeans are the propper attire, but it's 103 today and I would die in jeans.

Probably wouldn't be too hard to fab up out of some screening....is your muffler bent so that most of it is tucked up conviently along the underside of the bike's down tube?...That should shield most of the pipe from your legs...

Hey Andrew, The muffler does go along the down tube. I bought the bike at a pawn shop and it doesn't have a kickstand. I leaned the bike up against my work bench and it fell. When I jumped to stop it, it hit my leg. I mostly need protection from myself.
