I made these for my pedal bike, not because I am fast on it, but because of the wind- the air is rarely calm in Buffalo- hundreds of windmills out in the hills away from the city. These do help deflect the wind and hands get less cold.
To make them, I heated the plexi in the oven at 300 (placed on a flat surface), and bent them over a full bottle of Downy clamped in a vise. Didn't go completely around though.
When drilling plexy- run the drill fast with very light pressure- to avoid cracking it! This set-up could use another tie-down to the handlebars. Bars look a bit funny because I cut up some old bars to bring them back to a more comfortable area.
