after looking at the chinese engine and trying to figure out how to put one on, i went with the GEBE. i was hoping to get a better pic of the lights in the dark but it didn't work out too well it's alot brighter in person.

Before the engine and fairing I had it up to 37 mph. After the fairing, 45mph. With the fairing and engine, 31mph. I probably could go faster but the engine sounds like it's going to blow up. When i get much past 20 mph, the engine revs by it self.
The fairing has made it nice for the ride in the winter as it keeps most of the cold air off of me. In the summer it keeps bees out of my shorts.

that's a cool ride, no doubt..."efficiency & reliability" is written all over it, and 
this top-end "rev" you mentioned, is it more like a surge? checked your intake? i'm only guessing, ask a GEBE'r dude for sure.
