    ok this was the most difficult thing ive ever done register on this site took 15 attempts im neither stupid nor is my connection slow i have a simple question im a small bike manufacturer in portland thinking of getting into the moped scene whats the most reliable i know about kings and grubee grubee both are chinese origin changzhou factory and ruihao anyone have any reccomendations or experience im aware of the ban on imports

    dunno about the registration difficulties, but i'll address it with tom, sorry about that, AMcyclery :???: that portland, oregon? if so, we need to talk, because i'm not too far away from opening a retail bike shop in ocean park, wa.

    Reading your unpunctuated post was one of the most difficult thing I've ever done in my life:)

    I think a distinction is made in most people's minds between mopeds and motorized bicycles. Technically there is alot of overlap, but today's definitions used by the moped community are pretty similar to the ones used by the motorized bicycle community.

    Mopeds are generally considered bikes manufactured with the motor and frame in the same design.

    Motorized Bicycles are generally considered bicycle frames with a motor added to it afterwords.

    These two sites below do a pretty good job of giving an overview of the differences if I didn't:

    Two good resources for mopeds are

    There is a moped group in your area that call themselves the "Puddle Cutters" that may be a good local resource.

    Otherwise a good resource for motorized bikes is right here!
