double trouble

I bought another used bike. This one has a black 48cc longdu flying dragon kit on it. Are these motor kits any good? I had it up over 30 mph. The bike is a piece of **** sears free spirit , but for $130 I got a kit with about 40 miles on it . It also came with a schwinn trip computer and front/back lights. He also gave me a pair of new knobby tires that he said made the bike too wobbly. The bike shakes and makes lots of noise as is. It does not idle well at all and the choke comes on by itself. Its almost unsafe to drive. I'm sure that with a days work , I'll have it safe enough to ride.
I think that in the near future I am either going to put it on my 1986 kurahara mountain bike or wait for a cool older cruiser. Not sure yet.
