Sounds lame right?...sigh...If only $$ wasn't an issue. Since $$ is VERY much an issue - I'm planning to hack-off the puritists (I'm sure) with this new piece of MB blasphemy. Got it today. Runs smooth and got plenty of waves while I was ridin'. Got more stuff I'll be changing and adding so I'll try and update with pics as I go.

That's a nice looking bike. Start you mods with a check on the fender supports. You'd be surprised how far back the steertube get bents when you and the bike rotate around the front axle and smack into the street. Ask me how I know.

I went ahead and pulled the front fender off of it this morning.
It had already taken on a "tweak" in it's angle that I couldn't seem
to correct. I don't really think fenders have any place on MB's
anyway. FRONT fenders are a definite no-no in my book. Thanks
for the reply. I'm willing to bet, based off of what was said in your
reply, that you have intimite knowledge of exactly what pavement
tastes like. SUCKS dosen't it!
