I've seen some posts about the LD Z4C sparkplug which is what I have and I saw a post which states the NGK B6HS is a good replacement for it, but when I got them home, the NGK is longer in the threads than the LD Z4C and I'm told it shouldn't reach the combustion chamber. Is this correct? If so what other plug can be used?

Yes the threads are slightly longer but typically do not protrude past the threads in the head. There is no issue using this plug.
